Rockliffe House is a fabulous 18th century stone built detached Bed & Breakfast in the heart of Wooler, also known as “The Gateway to the Cheviots”. Wooler has excellent opportunities for Walking and many other activities including fishing, tennis, rock climbing, cycling, & site seeing. There is also a friendly golf course which welcomes golf enthusiasts for 9 or 18 holes (depending on how energetic you are feeling!)

Wooler is an excellent base for a holiday. The foothills with their quiet back-roads and bridleways are ideal for cycling and riding. Within a short car journey you can be on the magnificent Heritage coastline of North Northumberland with it's spectacular scenery of Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, Lindisfarne, Seahouses and the famous Farne Islands. Alnwick Gardens and of course the Scottish Borders are all within easy travelling distance from Wooler on uncluttered country roads.
